Athletics & Activities

In the Fall of 2011, Chokio Alberta Schools and Morris Area schools combined their sports teams and became the MACA Tigers! This decision has resulted in many benefits to the Chokio-Alberta School District. The biggest benefit is that our students can participate in a wide range of sports, many more sports than Chokio-Alberta could offer at just our school. Chokio-Alberta currently has students in almost every sport offered through this joint agreement.

There is a daily activity bus that runs between Chokio & Morris. Each day after school the activity bus is loaded with athletes who need to get to practice. The bus drops the students off at the Morris High School. The driver then continues her route and then returns to the Morris High School about 5:30 p.m. After practice, students ride the bus back to Chokio each day. Due to insurance liabilities, this service is ONLY available to CA students.

Chokio-Alberta has been lucky to keep their fine arts, professional orgaizations, and clubs within our school. We have many teachers who have dedicated their time to become advisors and work with our students within our own school.
