CHOKIO-ALBERTA COMMUNITY EDUCATION

One of the main reasons that the Chokio-Alberta School system has been so successful is because of the support of our communities.  The Chokio and Alberta communities have played a big part in promoting the health, wellbeing, and learning of all students. Community events in schools actively involves parents and engages community resources, so that schools can respond more effectively to the health-related needs of students.

The family and community involvement fosters partnerships among schools, family and community groups, as well as the individual themselves. These partnerships result in sharing and maximizing resources, while also helping students develop healthy behaviors and promote healthy families.

The Community Education program at C-A includes a wide variety of events and sports that have brought the community and students together in different ways.  A few of the many activities include:
